Music brings back the feeling of life when nothing else can

Music for Dementia 2020

Ambassador Lauren Laverne launches our M4D2020 Playlist Campaign!

Our multi-talented Music for Dementia 2020 Ambassador Lauren Laverne urges people with dementia, their families and carers to build music playlists with the launch of free playlists guides.

Often people living with dementia, their friends and carers don’t know how to get on to the right platform to stream a playlist, nor do they know how to have a conversation with their loved one about what music they would like on it.  By launching new step-by-step visual guides, we are encouraging people to create a playlist today!

The Musical Map for Dementia is live!

We are looking for nationwide support to help people with dementia find music related events and services in their area.

If you offer musical events and/or services, such as choirs, music groups, music therapy, dementia discos, whatever your offer – let us know by clicking on the application form link below:
