Music brings back the feeling of life when nothing else can

Music for Dementia 2020

The Musical Map for Dementia is live!

We are looking for nationwide support to help people with dementia find music related events and services in their area.

If you offer musical events and/or services, such as choirs, music groups, music therapy, dementia discos, whatever your offer – let us know by clicking on the application form link below:

What types of musical activity could I do?

There are a variety of different ways to engage in music when you are living or caring for a person with dementia.

  1. Listen to music, turn on the radio, sing together.
  2. Create a playlist with someone and listen to it together.
  3. Experience and participate in live music making.
  4. Work with a music therapist.
  5. Ask all care workers to make music a part of the daily care plan.

Whatever you choose to do, make music a part of your daily life!
